RATP Dev assure l'exploitation et la maintenance des futurs projets de tramway algériens, via une joint-venture avec l'Entreprise du Métro d'Alger (EMA) et l'Établissement Public de Transport Urbain et Suburbain d'Alger (ETUSA).

La SETRAM assure l'exploitation de la première ligne du tramway d'Alger, prenant le relais de l'ETUSA qui s'était vu confier de manière temporaire l'exploitation du premier segment de la ligne, inauguré le 8 mai 2011.

L'ouverture du second tronçon a été faite le 15 juin 2012, et un troisième tronçon devrait être mis en service à l'horizon 2014. À terme, cette première ligne de 23 km devrait transporter quelques 185 000 voyageurs chaque jour.
En matière d'exploitation, RATP Dev apporte son expérience d'opérateur multimodal pour favoriser la coordination et l'intermodalité avec le métro d'Alger, en bonne intelligence avec les équipes de RATP El Djazaïr.

En plus du tramway d'Alger, la SETRAM sera chargée de l'exploitation et de la maintenance des tramways d'Oran et de Constantine, qui devraient être mis en service en 2013.

La ligne Est du Tramway, c'est aujourd'hui 16,2 km de longueur répartie sur 28 stations dont 3 sont multimodales. L'objectif à terme est 23 km de ligne et 36 stations jusqu'au quartier de Dergana.

RATP Dev operates and maintains future Algerian tramway projects through a joint venture with Entreprise du Metro d'Alger (EMA) and Etablissement Public de Transport Urbain et Suburbain d'Alger (ETUSA).

SETRAM will operate the first tramway line in Algiers and carry on from ETUSA, which was provisionally entrusted with operating the line's first segment inaugurated on 8 May 2011.

The opening of the second segment should take place on 15 June 2012 with a third section scheduled to enter into service by 2014. The 23-km long line 1 will ultimately transport some 185,000 passengers per day.
In operation terms RATP Dev will also offer its experience as a multi-modal operator to help coordination and inter-modality with the Algiers metro system and will work closely with RATP El Djazair teams.

In addition to the Algiers tramway, SETRAM will be tasked with operating and maintaining the tramways in Oran and Constantine, which should enter into service in 2013.

The East line of the Tramway it's today 16,2 km length with 28 stations distributed which 3 are multimodal. The objective to terms is 23 km track and 36 stations up Dergana district.
